what are you doing about transport? I'm planning on having the whole day in one venue, but I am unsure what to do about transport. h2b wants to hire something for himself, but I am unsure as to whether there is any point for hiring something for myself. I'd love a horse and carriage, but it's only be for a short trip about 5 minutes down the road.

You could always get the horse and carriage to take you the long way around and get your moneys worth!

I don't know, we'll be staying the night before so our own transport won't exist! Guest transport though...not a clue!

Not doing anything about transport. That was one of the pros to all in one place as far as I was concerned

it would only be for picking us up from where we're staying and deliver us to the venue, but as I will be staying 2 minutes away at my dad's most likely, and I will be turning up once everyone else is there I don't see the point...but I always wanted horse and carriage! (well, unicorns but I'm on a budget!)

We are all (us and all our guests) staying at the venue the night before and the night after the wedding so we are not arranging the transport.

I am staying about 15 mins away and chris is about a minute. He will walk but I will either have a horse and carriage or use his dad 's beetle. If we run out of money though i'll just have a cab as it is not my priority! X

i think if you can afford it go for it! if not, then it seems a bit like you're paying money for nothing. i'm just going in my sister big ford mondeo, no-one is going to see it because i'll be arriving once everyone is seated! xxx

see that was what I was thinking, if I'm getting there once everyone's already seated then does it matter how I get there? Probably not

We are going to the venue in the morning in our own car, decorating the rooms then by 12 0'clock the bridal suite will be ready for us to use. I think one of the reasons we liked the idea of having everything under one roof was to save big time on hiring cars etc .... x

After the ceremony its taking me and new hubby for a drive around with the top down and a bottle if bubbly. We were thinking about not having a car at staying at the venue the night befire but h2b wanted me to come in style and have some nice photos getting out of the car x

When we were getting married here we were also having everything in one place which is about 20 mins up the road so i got a car for me and the bms where going to use my sister car.
Now we are getting married abroad ive just changed the date for the car as we are having a party when we get back in the same venue and i really want some pics with the car in as its one me and the h2b saw awhile ago and always said it would be our wedding car!
