I've searched through and can't find anyone paying more than £500 for their DJ in the evening. Taking this into consideration H2B and I don't think we should be paying more than £1000 for a harpist for the ceremony and wedding breakfast and then a DJ for the evening.
Music is important to H2B so sorting this is his job and a miracle has happened and he has got motivated (think I have Kate and Will to thank lol) however we are both clueless on this topic so need a little guidance please!

Our dj is £300 (from 5-12) and our string quartet is £355 (for 2 hours) hun.............personally i dont think it will cost you anything neara thousand!

The most expensive dj ive found was 455 but thats round here so not sure about your area? As for the harpist like i said my string quartet is 355 but the most expensive has been 700, so i wouldnt pay more then that for one harpist.

I have a few DJ friends and most of them charge between £300 to £500 for 6 hours play time. and our venue put starting price for a harpist in their brochure as £150 but that was for ceremony. Hope that helps a bit
our string quartet is £420 for church reception, and then drinks on arrival up to 2h, and DJ is £150

you should be able to get it for a lot less than 1k. A harpist we looked at was £350 and our DJ is £100 x

Harpists vary but i have found one not too far from you who will do the ceremony and the wedding breakfast for £300. Our DJ cost £225 for 5 hours. So based on that you should easily get a package way under 1K. Good Luck xxx

my dj is costing £160 from 7-1! ask some friends if they know a dj as that is where you will have money. im not having a harpist so cant help with that but imagine you will get both for wekk under 1k

I got a live swing singer that does a disco inbetween for £400 and he is coming from Manchester down to the midlands for that price and I got a harpist for £50 an hour.

Our DJ is £200, through the hotel that we are having the reception at. But could book separate for about the same price. 8-12pm. MIght have a pianist for the meal which will be about £50.

when we enquired about a dj it was the dearest in the area at 350 so that was the max but we went for a band instead. We enquired into a harpist and for 2 hours it would be 3oo ish. We are having a SQ from 11.30 until 5pm with breaks at 760 so this is for 4 ppl so divide that up for the time i guess?
