Wedding Forum - Your plans for the day before wedding......

So what are everyone's plans for the day before the wedding??
Mine will consist of nails, eyebrows, tan, and then a chilled out evening with a few good films and a takeaway :)
I hope I haven't missed anything!!

I'm not sure yet. I know we're having a nail technician come to my house and do nails for me, my mum and my sister. Then my sister's going to stay round at mine.

Oh no :( I suppose the only plus side being on your own is you will be we'll rested!! X

Then just look at it as you're only sleeping there :) can't be disturbed by anyone snoring!! :)
I was going to stay at our hotel the night before, but didn't want to be on my own either so ill be at home instead, so I know exactly how you must feel x

Lunch as a family us 5 both sets of parents his brothers and nephews and my sisters and nieces (22 people)
Then me and the girls are going to the hotel for a pampering before going up to our room for a dvd night and then men go back to h2b's parents house with our son!

i plan on being hungover. My MOH suggested staying in the hotel from thurs rather than fri as the temptation to go to the hotel bar on the friday night would just be too tempting, so if we go thursday, we'll be too rough friday to want to have a drink lol

I thought that was an astounding idea

Well we're staying at our venue the night before wedding.... Plan is to check in with my MOH close family and the girlies are having a spa day :)
Jacuzzi sauna etc etc :)
Getting my nails done too!

Then on the night time think we're meeting up with the men and having a meal and a few drinks then heading back to the bridal suite without my h2b :( lol and my moh will be keeping me company!

my venue has a offer for the night before, room for 4-6 people, 3 course meal, bottle of champagne, chocolates, nail women to come, personalised bathrobes and slippers, and an in room massage for £43 each. so me, my MoH, my mum and my daughter are having a girly night doing that <3 will be trying not to drink! MoH has a way of leading me astray lol

I have to deliver everything like table plan, favour, place names to the venue, then final beauty preparations, dogs to kennels and finally a meal with my whole family. H2B is working on the Friday so its likely that once he leaves for work on the Friday morning I won't see him again until I get to the church.

The night before the wedding I'm staying at the hotel where we will spend the wedding night too. At least two of my bridesmaids and one of the ushers will be there too. My h2b will stay at a hotel up the road with his best men and some of the other members of the wedding party. We will probably all have a meal together in the evening and then go our separate ways. I think some of the bridesmaids will come to my room for a bit of bubbly before I go to bed - not sure how I'll manage to sleep alone that night! I'm so excited, just booked our accommodation last week!

On Friday we shall have a big party with some of our guests who will travel to our wedding. My h2b and I will not drink too much that night and after the party I will go to sleep at the venue where we have booked a room for two nights. My h2b will sleep at home.

I haven't thought about it in that much detail yet, but I know it will involve a meal with both families together in the evening, and earlier on in the day something to celebrate H2B's nephew's birthday. We would also ideally have the rehearsal that day, so that all members of the wedding party can be present. Not sure there will be much time for pampering and chilling, although I suppose a facial would be useful.

Then wait for my MOH to arrive, have a few drinks then bed!!

Once everything is sorted on the Friday we will probably have a big family meet up at a pub and then me and H2B will say our good byes and I will go home and H2B will go to his mums house and thats it until the Saturday when the fun starts.

The night before the wedding I will be finishing off decorating the cake

I'm planning on having all my beautifying thing done in the morning- nails etc then going up to the venue to stay over night.
Might even treat myself to a spa day and a massage.

I am having nails egtc doen i the dsy then going to spend the night at our venue with my girls and 2 adults bridesmaid when we wil have a hen night to inculde my daughters x.

Legs waxed in the morning, then for occupational health appt, straight to the venue to set up. Say bye bye to h2b and early night for me x x

The day before our wedding we were busy picking up the hire car, then packing everything for the wedding into it ready to travel from Leeds to Gretna Green!! We'd already travelled to Blackpool two days earlier to pick up the cake - so that had to be packed securely in the boot, followed by picking up the best man then my dress from my parents (luckily covered so hubby couldn't see it lol).

Once we arrived it was good to unpack and chill before meeting the guests that had travelled there the day before as well. In the evening we met everyone in the local pub (which was good because for some people it was the first time they'd met), had a meal then spent the rest of the night there, drinking and playing pool lol.

Once back at the hotel, I finished off the place cards for the following day and made sure any last minute things were done - oh and watch some late night TV, as hubby had a separate room.

I no. I can't believe it is here already, going to get my dress today. Yes everything is done. Finished work last night and don't go to my new job for a month. The biggest thing is getting everything to the venue x x

I'm planning on having a chilled out day with my sister and friend, then in the evening go for dinner and then the 4 of us are off to watch the dream boys should be a good day xx

at this rate il be spending my day putting chair covers and sashes on a million bleedin chairs!!
