So what are everyone's plans for the day before the wedding?? Mine will consist of nails, eyebrows, tan, and then a chilled out evening with a few good films and a takeaway :) I hope I haven't missed anything!!

i'm going for lunch just me and my H2B then we'll say goodbye, my mum and sisters are then going to the venue with me as we get the keys at 4pm and are decorating ourselves and then going to my Mums for food, girly chat and having my nails done x

I'm not sure yet. I know we're having a nail technician come to my house and do nails for me, my mum and my sister. Then my sister's going to stay round at mine.

No idea really. It was going to be me and the bridesmaids at the venue the night before.. but because the venue cancelled and we now have a new venue (and it's too expensive for them to stay - well they won't put the rest toward it) then it's just me staying in the hotel by meself :(.

Pretty similar to yours lol... Need to decide whether I'm staying at mine the night before or booking a room in the hotel we're staying at the night after, my bridesmaid Kate is gonna be with me along with my 3 girls then my other two bridesmaids and maid of honour will join us in the morning x

Lunch as a family us 5 both sets of parents his brothers and nephews and my sisters and nieces (22 people) Then me and the girls are going to the hotel for a pampering before going up to our room for a dvd night and then men go back to h2b's parents house with our son!

i plan on being hungover. My MOH suggested staying in the hotel from thurs rather than fri as the temptation to go to the hotel bar on the friday night would just be too tempting, so if we go thursday, we'll be too rough friday to want to have a drink lol

Well we're staying at our venue the night before wedding.... Plan is to check in with my MOH close family and the girlies are having a spa day :) Jacuzzi sauna etc etc :) Getting my nails done too!
Then on the night time think we're meeting up with the men and having a meal and a few drinks then heading back to the bridal suite without my h2b :( lol and my moh will be keeping me company!

I'm taking my oldest over my mums then were going into town and getting beautified lol. So nails, eyebrows and waxed. Cant wait to see my 5 year old having a pedicure lol. She loves being pampered. Then well have some lunch. I'll pick youngest daughter up from h2b then have a relaxing night with them at my mum and dads.

my venue has a offer for the night before, room for 4-6 people, 3 course meal, bottle of champagne, chocolates, nail women to come, personalised bathrobes and slippers, and an in room massage for £43 each. so me, my MoH, my mum and my daughter are having a girly night doing that <3 will be trying not to drink! MoH has a way of leading me astray lol

I have to deliver everything like table plan, favour, place names to the venue, then final beauty preparations, dogs to kennels and finally a meal with my whole family. H2B is working on the Friday so its likely that once he leaves for work on the Friday morning I won't see him again until I get to the church.

The night before the wedding I'm staying at the hotel where we will spend the wedding night too. At least two of my bridesmaids and one of the ushers will be there too. My h2b will stay at a hotel up the road with his best men and some of the other members of the wedding party. We will probably all have a meal together in the evening and then go our separate ways. I think some of the bridesmaids will come to my room for a bit of bubbly before I go to bed - not sure how I'll manage to sleep alone that night! I'm so excited, just booked our accommodation last week!

I'll be working! :( And working on the Monday after too!! Literally just a weekend wedding. But its the only time to do it with the church, and with my H2B's military schedule. 2 weeks after is Christmas though so we'll have 2 weeks together then.

On Friday we shall have a big party with some of our guests who will travel to our wedding. My h2b and I will not drink too much that night and after the party I will go to sleep at the venue where we have booked a room for two nights. My h2b will sleep at home.

We have a ten bedroom house that we have hired for all our guests so we will be pre-wedding partying! House has games room, pool, jacuzzi, big garden! Think I shall be karaokeing! lol

I haven't thought about it in that much detail yet, but I know it will involve a meal with both families together in the evening, and earlier on in the day something to celebrate H2B's nephew's birthday. We would also ideally have the rehearsal that day, so that all members of the wedding party can be present. Not sure there will be much time for pampering and chilling, although I suppose a facial would be useful.

Nails and brows for me too, then off to chill at the hotel with BM before the big day. Prob have a meal out with my family the day before the day before. I plan to eat light the day before cause I also don't want to be bloated. Bloating can mean the difference between fitting in my dress and not lol.

The First Day Of My Happily Ever After

The day before our wedding we were busy picking up the hire car, then packing everything for the wedding into it ready to travel from Leeds to Gretna Green!! We'd already travelled to Blackpool two days earlier to pick up the cake - so that had to be packed securely in the boot, followed by picking up the best man then my dress from my parents (luckily covered so hubby couldn't see it lol).
Once we arrived it was good to unpack and chill before meeting the guests that had travelled there the day before as well. In the evening we met everyone in the local pub (which was good because for some people it was the first time they'd met), had a meal then spent the rest of the night there, drinking and playing pool lol.
Once back at the hotel, I finished off the place cards for the following day and made sure any last minute things were done - oh and watch some late night TV, as hubby had a separate room.
