I am now at the point that I have begun looking at wedding bands half heartedly (I have been trying on a few at Wedding Fairs). Is everyone else strssing about having a wedding ring to match the engagement ring?? The people who help at the counters all make suggestions which I am NOT impressed by, but I dont know if my ring is an awkward one or if Im just being picky.
Its got to be perfect though right? Im gonna be wearing them both EVERYDAY OF MY LIFE!!!!
My engagement ring is a Five-stone Round-cut Diamond Ring - all the diamonds are equal sized... so nothing sits against it or looks right at all. I cant be paying for one to be made to fit the ring - Ive got a small budget for the thing!!

Are all you ladies worried about this or am I being silly? Does anyone else have the same ring and picked a wedding band??

My engagement ring is a really weird shape, and I don't like the look of the ones that are made to fit personally - some look wonderful but just wouldn't with my ring!
Because of that, I'm choosing the wedding ring I like and I'm going to wear my engagement ring on another finger - the only other option for me was something called a 'frame' or enhancer that I've only really seen on American sites but it's like a wide ring and your e ring sits in the middle so looks like three bands, but is specially shaped to frame the setting on your e ring.
Got married 27th June and blessed on July 5th 2012

It looks like a very Victorian-style engagement ring (my granny had one). Given the amount of sparkle, a plain band or a floral engraved band would look lovely. Why not approach a jeweller who specialises in fine antique jewellery and see what they'd recommend? I know who I'd recommend in Edinburgh (Joseph Bonnar) but there should be one somewhere around most cities.

my e ring is a really unusual shape...got it in turkey! and finding a ring that i liked and looked good next to it was a nightmare. in the end i found my dream wedding ring, he is sparkly like my e ring and actaully does match but doesnt sit completly next to it but i think it doesnt matter to be honest.
if you are that worried you can always get a ring made to match like a lot of brides on here have done xx

When you say you are on a tight budget how tight is it? Some jewellers don't charge that much extra to have a piece taken out of it. The price is determined by the weight and choice of metal. I found an small independent jeweler that charged about £100 to make a ring for me so shop about.
i have a big diamond cluster engagement ring am just getting a medium heavy plain band that curves over dont know exact name for wedding band. h2b gettin same wedding band but larger version
