Matt is in charge of suits for the men, transport, the wedding party and parents gifts, we both picked the music and stationary together and we have added a little extra to the vows that will include my children that we both picked.
Saying that he has a say in everything, i ask his opinion, he nods, i go ahead!

Pretty much everything, i just need to turn up in my pretty dress. He has designed invites and thankyou cards, he is sorting hog roast, cake, bar, mead, dj, photographer, transport.... he has already bought suits for him, his dad and best man and picked out their waist coats and cravats. He chose the colour scheme (with my approval, it sounds like i didnt get a say but it was very mutual) ...... I chose my dress, bridemaids dresses, flowers, decorations etc.... lol
You mean he's allowed an opinion??? My day my way pmsl

I've been trying to involve him in pretty much everything. I do all the research and he helps me to make all the decisions (I've even asked his opinion on my dress ideas).
It's been really nice planning together. :D

Mine is responsible for downloading our music for the ceremony, altho we picked it together. He also picked the first dance. He's also picked out the suits together with me and our 4 year old daughter who gave her opinion too, i guess when he tried on tails and she laughed at him and said "daddy you look funny" it was a definate no no, lol. I've done most of the research cos it'd of never got done if i left it up to him but we both decided on things together. Its nice to choose together as it's a special day for both of you. The other thing he has to do is remember to say nice things about how I look on the day lol.

My h2b has chosen his suit and has to keep it clean before arriving at the church, which is a big ask as it is a cream suit and he has a very close relationship with the contents of the food cupboard, lol. He will also have the job of doing all the balloons the morning of the wedding as I will be doing the food etc. But he will also put the marquees up in our garden (with a few hands to help) and will probably put the ribbon on the cars as well. Everything else is in my hands which I a happy with as he has paid for most of it so don't want him doing too much else. :)
Finally reunited with the love of my life
Never to part again
This Saturday I will finally be Mrs Codling!

His doing all the suits he has a couple of little projects too like making a post box and making hanging letters for top table and I do ask his opinion on big things like flowers photographer etc but his nit interested in all the little things x
Ed is apparently going cycling in the morning with his mates - which will probably help him deal with wedding nerves. And he will look relaxed and happy, like he always does after riding.
Then he just needs to get to the venue and marry me, wearing the suit he chose (in the colours I suggested to the salesperson's ear so he will match my dress.)
Then we will go to the reception venue (which we both chose), in the wedding car he chose.
We will listen to the band that I chose and drink the wine that he chose!
I have kept him involved in other choices except for what I am wearing.
But there is no question that I am doing the bulk of 'work' and that he mainly does things when I tell him to:
"Honey, here's your chequebook. They need a deposit of £50. Put it in this envelope."
"Sweetheart, here's the phone. Why don't you call them now and ask how much it costs and if it's available on the day. Then you can relax."
Anyone else familiar with that?!

At the moment, not much lol; he looked at like 4 venues with me (I looked at 12 in total), decided he liked the last one he saw, and wouldn't come to any after that lol; TBF I also liked that one and really just looked at the others to be sure. He's had some input with food and with the guestlist, but it's mainly been left to me.
I'm hoping he'll help with the invites/menus etc as he's a graphic designer, so I'm going to get him to print the inserts etc. I'd also like his help finding a photographer as I'll be mega busy with work when it comes to looking for one, so his help would be useful.
Otherwise, it's just sorting out his and his best man's suits and that's it. Thing is, I'd like him to help but he trusts me to do it and I'm good at organising things, reading contracts etc so I always knew it would largely fall to me :-s

all my h2b has to do is sort the suits for himself and the bestman and paige boy and turn up he gets really nervous at being in the spotlight so we thought it be best if he had little to do on the day x
Cannt wait to be a Savage :-)

We have done most things together but it's his responsibility to be SOBER!!!! :D
CommentAuthorxox-Zoeee
i dont even trust him to get there ontime. he needs to be there about 3 hours before or il worry. all he needs to do is decide who he wants on the guestlist and get me some addresses this seems to be impossible for him. hels so helpful when talking about the wedding and helping me decide on things tho. xx
CommentAuthorCheryl22
We have done most of the planning together, but he is in charge of his outfits plus the outifts for his 2 best men and the ushers. other than that he just has to turn up and look handsome ( which he always does) lol

my h2b has a lot of input on our big day. He has a say on almost everything. He is organising the photographer (he took this upon himself to deal with). He's dealing with venue and registrar, and the male suits. I have the rest (the easier girly stuff :)).xx
