My MIL has that mentality, because my OH has a fairly well paid job she thinks she can phone us at the drop of a hat for £100 to send to number 2 son who was in Aus and wanted to come home and then when we told her we didn't have the money she kicked off. I've waited 2 yrs for a xmas present thats never arrived off her (£50 for a mirror in our lounge) so this year she's "promised" to give us £200 for a new washer we have been unable to use ours since august as its knackered, if I don't get the money for it I'm going to be very very peeved because my mum got offered a washing machine a few weeks ago!! She can't kick ur pets out, you pay rent and pay for their food, it makes me laugh people who have all these pets, I don't mind they giving the pets a lovely home but there comes a point when it becomes an animal sanctuary and each pet doesn't get enough quality time with the pets!!!!!!!!!!

what is you MIL on ? what with the demanding anything for christmas/birthday .... how rude is she . i think the only present she would get from me is a Slap on the issue of her geting another car i`m afraid thats down to her bushe cant be asking you for money towards her animals if you are paying for your own.
