We went out with friends yesterday and both sisters of one friend are big on making cakes. If they see a cake in a magazine they'll just make it for the fun of it, if you mention a cake in conversation they'll turn up with it the next day. One of the sisters is constantly making cup cakes. They are just obsessed with baking. When our friend mentioned our wedding both of them asked if we'd sorted our cake yet and started to come up with ideas of what we could have. And the best bit...we only have to pay for the cost of ingredients.

wow that brill!! We have had someone offer to buy our cake but i dont know if it just so we will invite her to wedding! (as will feel obliged to by her buying our cake!) its a long story haha but thats great! You geet someone you know making your cake and you know it will be fantastic too!!!

Originally H2B said he didn't like the idea of cupcakes. He is notoriously as tight as a fishes... so when they mentioned nearly free cupcakes I think that swayed him. lol

Fantastic news - we've also hit lucky on the cake because if we do want it made for us (instead of our original idea of going to M&S) then we will only have to pay cost plus £20 :)
