Not sure I've got this in the right category, but here goes. Yesterday was a day when a couple of long promised things finally arrived.

My Mum has been wanting to contribute to the wedding ever since I got engaged. Unfortunately she has bi-polar and is current in hospital. She's been telling me different amount for months now, anything from £200-£1000, and with her health it's been kinda difficult to know what to expect. Yesterday afternoon I get a call from my Mum's CPN saying she has a cheque from my Mum for £700 and could she meet me after work as she needs to give it me in person. I've been worrying about our wedding budget recently and this has just taken a weight of my mind.

Also had an appointment with the lady who has made my jewellry last night. She'd finish making my tiara, necklace and braclet and this is the first time that I'd seen them since she'd completed them. Also finally managed to get two of my bridesmaids (I have 3) together to come with me and they have now picked their hair accessories. This is the first time that I've managed to get more than one to do something weddinging with me at the same time. My other bridesmaid is not having anything in her hair, so she didn't really need to be there

Then I get home tonight and have a message from the bridal shop to say my dress has arrived. I might be moving next weekend, but if not definately the weekend after, so not sure when to make an appointment to go try it on. But really excited to know it's arrive!

Not wedding related, but the business cards my boss has been promising me for about 6 months also arrived yesterday.
