Im soooooooo happy right now, H2B suprised me by telling me that his parents are paying for our flower and decoration which came to £900. He phoned them worrying we wouldnt be able to afford it, so he asked if they could pay and we would pay them back after the wedding, but his dad said they want to pay for it as he can see where the money is going. but yeah, im soo please, its such a big help and so generous of them (i feel a lil guilty)

It's always nice to receive the unexpected :D My PIL would probably pay for the whole wedding if they could afford it. Unfortunately they can't, and they haven't specified any numbers, but I'm sure they'll help us out as much as they can. My parents, on the other hand, could afford to help a lot, but have only offered a little The most they seem willing to give is a promise (which I'm not even sure will happen) of a small sum of money, and to make the cake. My mum is funny in that she asks to be involved, but then she never asks anything about it! And if I do bring up the topic of wedding, she's not very keen to actually talk.
