    My wedding isnt for AGESS yet but my maid of honor and myself have been throwing around ideas. We would like to start with pre-drinks/snacks at my flat, then being picked up by a double decker party coach and having an hour on this before hitting a local nightclub - Having a vip room here and playing a few silly games before hitting the dance floor.
    Now if you were asked to pay £35-40 towards this would you be ok with it? or does it seem to much?
    For this everyone would get -
    *Drinks supplied at mine first
    * place on double decker party coach for an hour and drinks on board
    * Free entry into nightclub and our own vip room
    * Free glass of bubbly
    * 2 free drinks
    * Goodie bag
    * Possible topless waiter/stripper?

    Does that sound ok?
    The town is about 45mins away from where we live so in taxi fares would be around £50 for a 4 seater taxi, nightclub entrys usually £8, then plus drinks provided at mine and a few freebies?

    Thoughts?

    If i asked for £45-50 instead and this included a buffet at the nightclub would that still seem an ok price to ask from people???

    i would be more than happy. for my 1st hen do everyone spent £70 for travel and accomodation and then spend money for drinks, fair, food, entry

    then we went to turkey and spent about £600 each for a weekend. for my best friends next year it is costing £100 before anything else so it is a fab price! xx

    I think that's a really good price for a hen night, especially as you're planning really far ahead, everyone should manage to save up for it if they needed to! Sounds like a good laugh too!

    that sounds fair to me. my friend is having her hen do in sept next year and she's expecting everyonr to give £160 + travel expense and drinks in the clubs for her. i told her i couldn't do it but did want to go so she decided to put my name down anyway :/ i think anything to £100 (depending what for) is acceptable :)

    i think this sounds cheap - every one ive heard who's been on a hen do paid way more than this. Im sure your girls would be happy to pay tht for you, especially as its a while yet and they have time to save up if they are skint!

    I planned a hen party last year, and had eveything -transport, food, entertainment, drinks - all in for £70, two people said it was too much, so I rearranged a few bits and got it down to £45 which everybody was happy to pay. The annoying thing is, one of the people that asked me to lower the price didn't turn up anyway. But most people were happy at the £70 mark.

    I have paid £70 plus expenses for a 3 night stay at center parks and £29 for a dinner dance before so it varies. Depends on what you can afford but i would never turn down a hen do unless it was abroad. That would be too much for me to pay for just a hen do, maybe for an actual wedding yeah.

    That sounds great, I'd defo pay the £50 coz then there wouldnt be much else you'd have to pay our for on the night! (Plus if you had the buffet you wouldnt all be stinkin of kebabs on the way home as I usually end up doing! ;-) hehe )

    Sounds like a reasonable amount to me. H2B's friend is going to london go karting for his stag. Its £60 just for the go karting I think, never mind the getting there, the extra drinks etc. H2B is gonna be made skint by it just before my birthday! lol.

    I would pay it no problem, and I would also pay the extra for the nibbles, as on a night out after numerous most people I know, including myself get the munchies, so I would be very grateful :)
