After lots of moaning and complaining we finally found a song for the bride and groom exit but unsure whether it would be allowed.

Take in mind we are getting married via civil ceremony and no religious content is allowed at all.
The reason I am not sure about this is down to the lines

From what I can remember, we were told that we are not allowed any reference to God/Jesus/religous idols etc. The best thing to do would be to call the registry office and ask the people there. They might allow it.

I was told by the registrar that any reference to anything religious was not allowed..not even if it is an instrumental version. Things like Angels robbie williams..and God Only Knows...or references to heaven..or anything like that is a no no...it is stupid !! We are having Greatest Day by Take That..had to have my boys at the wedding lol

phone the registrar... its a bit silly if u cant since its hard to avoid everything all the time. Its only a small reference. simplist way is to phone and then at least u know. As soon as registrars gone u could play it then.
