We have our venue booked & it's absolutely stunning & I love it the way it is, so do you think we would even need to dress it up ?? There are pics in my album.

If we did dress it up, it wouldn't be much but don't know what we could do to it without ruining the beauty of it?!

Obviously we will decorate the tables, so should we just leave it as that?

We're going to have a few mad hatter props dotted around as people drive/walk in .. like signs saying 'this way, that way, wrong way, up, down' etc.

    xx

I would just do the tables hun. It is a gorgeous venue and has so much character already. I think adding decorations would ruin the whole feel of the place. I do love the sign idea though! xxx

Thanks ladies, I thought the same but just wanted to check !! I agree Linzi, I do think it would spoil it if we added things, I'll just keep the tables decorated, have a few props scattered about & that will be enough :) xx

I think its lovely as it is in the pictures too. But as well as the tables, I do like the odd greenery/flower arrangements they've got dotted around in the alcoves - breaks up the walls a bit etc. But if you're doing props then those plus the extra flower arrangements may be too much?

Thanks StacyT :) it's unbelievably pricey too, but worth it lol xx

LMW - I'm not really a flower person so not too fussed about that, will prob have a few little flowers in giant teacups on some of the tables but I think I want each centre piece to be different, or will that look silly? I'm not sure whether to have props inside aswell or if that will spoil the look? As I want some props of a couple of the characters but don't know whether to have them outside with the signs or? Hmmmm lol xx

Your venue is gorgeous! Keeping it as it is would be fine but you can always add a little bit of 'you' to bring it all together. I love the theme, too xx

I think it's so unique that there's no need to dress it up too much - just a few things to make it yours, as others have said :) It looks beautiful, and very atmospheric :)

Thanks Bev, the theme idea kind of fell upon us when we went to pick a cake .. as we chose a topsy turvy kind of cake, I said it reminded me of the mad hatter & the theme was born :) lol

Thank you madhen, we're def not going to dress it up apart from the few touches, I don't want to spoil the look/feel of it! xx

Thank you ladies, I spose the extra cost for the venue makes up for the fact we don't have to spend on dressing it up! xx
