Help! Originally when I designed my invites we were getting married at 1pm so the invite read

"At One O'Clock in the afternoon" - the font styles means it's all in captitals and looks handwritten.

However, now we are getting married at 1.30 i'm not sure what to write! I really liked the idea of having the time written out rather than putting "1.30pm" but should it be

"At a Half Past One in the afternoon" or "At One Thirty in the afternoon"

Both are all in capitals due to the font so please ignore the capitalisation here.

Or do I have to sacrifice the letters and just put "At 1.30pm" ?

    What to do?!?!

definatly go with the words, but as English is not my strongest point I'll leave the exact choice of words to others

If you invites are quite formal, I would do 'at a half past''
