Our wedding is in March 2015 and we have booked and paid deposits on everything and had done by November just gone. If you know what you want then I would say go ahead and book as when I approached suppliers about things some of them had already began to fill dates in 2015 and this was in 2013!!!. With you wedding being in peak season I would start narrowing down suppliers at least. If you have a habit of changing your mind then maybe enquire about availability but don't commit until you are sure. Xxx

I'm just behind you on the 29th :)
I have booked venue, registrar and photographer. Just looking at venue decorators as the one I originally booked has shut up shop (downside to early booking I suppose) and have appt with cake maker and dj for later this month. All of those people already had bookings for 2015. And I already have my beautiful dress halfway paid off.
Ha, I booked my wedding exactly 2 years before my wedding date, the earliest I could book it and get wedding insurance. That was back in july, for july 2015!

its never too early to book things for the wedding i get married in July 2015 and have had the main things booked (Venue, Photographer, Videographer, Venue Dresser ) since 2012 also it gives you a bit more time to pay for things we have been paying the Photographer and Videographer since we booked them as it was quite a big chunk out of our budget we now just have to start paying for the venue and get all the extra bits sorted this year is going to be a pretty busy one. x

No, definitely not too early to start booking and planning things. You'll be surprised how much there is to do and how long it takes to make a decision on things xxx

It's not too early to book anything. Just remember to get a contract for everything, and wedding insurance.
Plus, prices go up yearly - so if you book now you could get a better price x

My wedding is July 2016. So far i have booked:
Venue Flowers Cake vanue decor (i won it for free) dress is bought
In the next 6 months we will book:
the humanist photographer entertainment
bridesmaid dresses will be booked by the end of this year and I am already starting to make my invites and write a list of everything else that i want/need such as scatter crystals for tables and voils to wrap around the posts at my venue and flowers to intertwine with those. It is never too early to book and remember to ask for discounts on everything because most suppliers need money now....and that is where your deposit comes in. Offer a slightly higher deposit if need be in return for a discount xx

Never too early!!! I am one of the most stressed people ever so I started booking 2 years in advance to try and keep on top of things and I have now less than 3 months and everything is nearly done!! You will have family members (mainly In laws) telling u 'it's too early' and 'why are u doing that already' but when u are completely calm with 3 months to go u can concerntrate on the personal things and special touches!!
Go for it xxx

we booked our venue, registrar and photographer last june (we get married may 2015), and have bought bridesmaids dresses off ebay a few weeks back, meeting with cake maker next weekend (as apparently they get booked up really early as well)

Its never to early I started planning mine September 2012. They are lots of brides and grooms that plan and book as soon as they set a date (sometimes this is years in advance). That way it helps with been more organised and helps you find your budget. You get wed in 19 months I would get booking as things will get booked up before you know it x

never too early! I get married August 15th 2015 and have booked church, reception venue, cars, band/dj, photographer, photobooth, and venue decorators. Also waiting to hear from a videographer, cakemaker and hair/make-up artist - and that's because I've had to find alternatives to those we originally enquired with who were already booked for that date; and that was back in October last year! So go for it! x
