    That sounds lovely :)
We are thinking of inviting my bridesmaids/ushers (they are couples!) and mum and dad onto the dance floor to share the tail end of our first dance but not sure yet as we might do a surprise upbeat song at the end.. Decisions..

Anyway, I think it sounds a great idea and if the know when to come onto dance floor they can just go up and join you and it will look lovely and very sweet

Won't that be a second dance then?! ;)

Lovely idea... first family dance! I can see it working quite well although might be nice to break it up or have a shorter first dance or get the family and friends on the second one to join in sooner or it may go on a bit and guests get bored!

Or you could do half of your first dance just you two, then second half with kids, and then in the last chorus or something add in the rest!
