Well as you all know it 12 months exactly til my wedding on the 24th august so i thought i ould go try my dress on as that gives me a year exactly if i need to lose weight. So im going on the 27th august to try it on hopefully MOH will be there aswell as mum, although it will be embarrassing if i try it and its way too small but oh well thats means ive got a year, wish me luck though im praying i havent put on too much weight since buying it (its an ex sample dress so was bought off rail but it gorgeus!!!!)

Good luck hun, I'm sure you're going to look amazing, you may be surprised and it may fit you lovely, but if not as you say you've got a year to loose the weight. I bought an ex-window display dress and I needed to loose 2 stone to get in it !!! I've managed to loose 1st 5lb, still got a way to go and this second stone is coming off really slowly, but I'm hopin I can get that last weight off. Good luck with your fitting and enjoy it :) xx

dont worry if you need to loose weight then you have plenty of time, and i am sure it wont rip. as the bridal shop shouldn't try and do it up if they think its going to.

Well its tomorro im going at 2.30 with MOH im excited and so is she lol!!!! i know i have put weight on but how much is the question :) so we will go through an il try my dress on then we will just have a nice girlie day :)

If by some small chance the dress isnt a snug fit then so what, like you said you have a year!! You can achieve a hell of a lot in 12 months so dont let it get to you!! but like I said I bet its no where near as bad as u think!

Woohoo todays D day to see how fat i am LOL!!!! When i was a BM at my friends no matter how much i tried to control my weight it kept creeping up and im now a size 16!! even just before my friends wedding i was doing 6 classes a week, and it still kept piling on how i dont know though!!!!!

Im sure you can do it. I did exactly the same and joined a Slimming group and have managed to loose two stone one pound to fit into my dress. It has been hard work but i was determined that was the dress i wanted to wear on my Wedding day and now I only have ten days to go! Stick at it and keep visualising yourself in it thats what i did and it has worked. Good Luck xxx

Well thats me tried the dress on and i have a stone to lose, i also tried veils on and i went for a cathedral length and its lovely!!!! so i spent another £105 on a veil :)

Ah yay glad you sorted your veil! I went for a longer one than I tried on as flowed well at back with style of dress but didnt get to try the actual length I'm getting!! Stone isn't too bad though :) bet it was nice to have your dress on again!! Xx
