they said on facebook 5 hours ago that the winner had been drawn and to check the forum for the winners details. Then 3 hours ago they said they were just finalising the last few details.
i would have thought, for advertising purposes, if they cant get hold of the winner after the first few attempts, then they would just draw another winner? I mean its not like the original winner would ever know would they?
I mean that new potential power users seeing the competition on facebook, and seeing the post saying the winner had been drawn and to check the forum for the details, and then those details to STILL no be on the forum 5 hours later isnt very good is it??

Hi Linzi - I prefer that they keep trying the original winner and not drawing a new one as you would have missed calls and maybe a message and I would be devastated if I won and it got re-drawn because I didnt answer quick enough xx

ok just been on fb and It say's on the fb page that they are finalising details, to me that says the winner and the prize giver have paperwork to do things to sign, T & C's to go over and so on. This all take's time especially from a distance. Let's just say if you havent had a phone call yet.............your not the winner!

I imagine the winner has to agree to all the publicity stuff and send information on their story across to UKB, and then the press release etc has to be put together.

i am not saying they should, nor that i agree that they should, but if I was running an business that depended so heavily on advertising and this type of competition then its something I would think about.
they announce the winner is drawn and will be announced today. Then at 6pm it isnt announced yet? the cynical would say its just a way of increasing internet traffic.
to put it another way, its a bit of a downer for UKB to say winner announced today!! and then not being able to announce the winner........

Where is the drama? If it's announced today - well there are still quite a few hours left. Who says it has to be revealed by a certain time? And as for advertising - this increases advertising. No harm done either. And why do we all care so much? Didn't get a phone call so it's not me. More I don't need to know.

DOesnt matter to me when it is all announced. I'm not here just for the prizes, plus I know it wont be me that's win, and that doesnt bother me ONE bit, all I hope is that the winner really appreciates it, and i am sure that person does. I love to hear people's winners stories, it can make people so happy.

Yeh i totally agree! IF they changed who had won cos the winner didnt get to their phone then all us that work full time wud never win! I work in a nursery i cannot have my phone in the building if im working till 6 then i dont get to my fone till 10past 6 or later! so if i ever won my prize wud b taken away. That would be the worst advertising ploy ever!!

Just want to apologise for the delay with the details to this competition...I don't have a printer and had to go out to find one so that i could scan the T&C's etc and scan them back into a computer to send back....
