If you usually dont wax, will you be doing for the wedding? Im not one for waxing as im a wimp but im considering it. Imean legs as well as a bikini wax. After all, all those ladies helping you into your dress, you want to make sure they dont see anything they shouldnt!

If you havent ever waxed before i wouldnt risk it. I had my eyebrows and under arms wax 9 days ago to see what it was like - it didn't hurt - but - after 3 days i came out in strange lumps/spots where she'd waxed. I'd deffo have a trial run first. I'd av looked a right mess on the day with these spots. Maybe its just me that had a reaction to the wax xxx

I won't be waxing as I tend to have reactions to it so I will just shave the morning of the wedding. But as blue said I would definitely have a trial run first

I have my eyebrows done monthly and she's advised me to start in September to build it up because the first wax doesn't get everything. And to have the one for the wedding two weeks before to allow any pimples and redness to go down xx
I'll be having my usual eye brow and top lip wax around the week before. I have contemplated bikini waxing but i know people who have had it done regularly and ended up with god awful sweat rash/chaffing - you don't want that on your honeymoon!!!

No, but I have hardly any body hair anyway (I'm naturally light blonde). I think as someone said above, if you haven't done it before, I wouldn't risk irritating your skin

No way! Far too painfull (I am a big wimp!). I will just shave the morning if my wedding day. I am lucky to have blond hair so it barley shows up any way :). Xx

Hair removal cream is available for people with sensitive skin and normal skin. I use the sensitive one as i find my skin less irritable on my legs afterwards. Hope this helps

I used the sensitive skin one too for the first time a few weeks ago and although it got about 80% of hairs, I thought it burned :/

Bikini wax never really lasted for me or legs! Re growth after about 3 days when was told 3 weeks so gonna use hair removal creams as they seem to last longer for me than razors weirdly. I'll be getting my eyebrows done though x

If you had more than 3 weeks to go, i would have advised a wax but you need a good couple of visits before your hairs get into synchronized-growing mode! I absolutely fall in the wimp category, and I endure waxing because it lasts and my hairs are now much finer compared to when i shaved! A couple of paracetamol 45 minutes before always helps. RE ingrown hairs - exfoliating is supposedly the answer.
