Were getting married in our local parish church as i was christened here and also my dad & aunt too so its personal to me!
We have paid the deposit but now were due to move to the next town! Will this mean ill have to give up this church or wont it matter as i have a connection to the church?

I think as long as you've booked it and are living within the parish for 6 months plus it should be ok, how far away from the church are you moving because i think a parish has a 2 mile radius x

I'm sure I read that if you have a connection to it such as being christened there or your family have a connection then they will allow you to marry there xx

I think it depends on the priests discretion a lot of the time.
If youre lucky then he may agree to let you have youre wedding there still
