I have given my wedding shoes much thought - and although i love the shoes i have bought, i think they may snag the bottom of my dress as they have like crystal/diamante stones on the ankle strap.

What i was thinking instead (i dont want to spend a fortune on shoes) is buying a plain ivory satin pair which i can dye at a later date....and either buying or making some feather clips to go on them.

I cant really see what the shoe looks like in the first pic. Love the idea of the feathers on the shoes. Aslong as its just a couple like in the pics I think they will look fab.

The shoes in the first pic is of the shoes i have now and am concerned about the ankle strap.....it may snag my dress at the bottom.
yes i was thinking more of the bottom (last) pic for the feathers, but on the plain shoes as those ones are waaaaay to high for me! xxxxx

Your original shoes are gorgeous but i dont know if the crystals would snag your dress :( I agree about the heel! I want a small heel as im quite tall and dont want to be as tall as h2b on the day lol xx

I much prefer the feather option on the plain shoe. The blingy pointy shoe is not my cup of tea.

Think the feathers on the plain shoes will look great, Love the last pair! If the heel was a bit lower i'd be hunting the internet for them now! But agree about the ankle strap, last thing you want is to be walking down the aisle, get it caught and end up falling flat on your face! Even if they are gorgeous! x

Have a look at elegant steps, you can buy them in white/ivory then they will dye them for you for free after the wedding - they sell shoe clips too :-)

If you have a hoop under your dress the shoes won't even touch the hem, but if it's a straighter style you might be in trouble :/ I like the feathers on all the shoes, they look very unusual :)
