    Hey all, our wedding colours are gold and ivory but I want a splash of colour in it.will lilac go with those colours? if not,what do you think will?xxx

    I suppose it depends how much lilac...I'd have gone for burgundy or turquoise but it's all about what you like yourself xx

    those colours are lovely, if you want something to go with it, it needs to be quite bold/striking, so if you want lilac/purple it needs to be boldish

    our colour scheme is gold n ivory also and to add some colour we are having various shades of yellows n oranges with ivory for say the flowers it brightens up the venue n the colour scheme for us xx

    Im having gold and ivory too!! If the colour you add to it isn't very bold then it will look washed out. U'l need to go for something fairly striking x

    I agree with lisalou, you need to have a fairly striking colour otherwise it'll wash out. How about a blue or fuchsia or a green? xxx
