Ever since me and H2B got together, I made my mind up I wanted cadbury's purple as my colour for the wedding. But a few days ago I thought about having a vintage style wedding as I love lace and beads etc.
Do you think I could make the colour and the style go together?

I see vintage as creams and pastal pinks etc.

Could you go with lilacy colours??!?

Why don't you try getting some fabric samples and seeing if they work together?

not sure there myself as i'm struggleing with my theme and color atm... so therefore i'm not being a good help :(
but maybe you should have a look in to bridal mags or online u might find something in cadbury purple which would suit your vintage theme you might be able to do so if you mix it also with a different color towards it xx

Cadbury's Purple is very nice... my friend recently had that ... not sure whether it would all go together tho..... I agree with Mintymonkie tho ... lilac could work

It would probably work if it were just an accent colour, not entirely sure it would as main colour though! try picking up a few cheap bits and bobs from charity shops and see how well they work together. I think it may just be a matter of getting the balance right.

I agree with the above - I think as long as you don't have it everywhere it could look really nice - but make your main colours more pastely x
