Ok, second time lucky. I hope i've put it in the right category (nervous) as its my first discussion.
H2B has been on at me recently because i apparently spend to much and if we want to get married we have to cut back. I have cut back and been saving. I've stopped having my nails done and stopped smoking just to save and every penny i earn goes in the wedding pot.
H2B however has parcels arriving left right and centre. When i questioned him about it nicely the other night he said oh, it only cost me £20 etc. Today, another parcel has arrived!! Its a golf club!!! aaagggghhhh
I looked on bay of e and in the past week has spent £100 on 2 pairs of trousers and £60 on a gold club plus all the little things, £5 here, £10 there.
He tells me that we can't afford to pay the deposit on the reception venue yet which is £200 yet he spent that much buying rubbish he doesnt need!
AAAggggghhhh.....

oh dear! that is so out of order! one rule for ladies and one rule for the boys - my other half is exactly the same. every single penny i save ends up footing the bill for his smoking, drinking and buying lunch out every single day!!! it drives my bonkers to think ladies like us are trying really hard and doing everything possible for nothing!!!
i sympathise with you like you wouldn't believe!
golf clubs??
maybe don't tell him everything you're spending for the wedding then. my H2B doesn't know we're having a videographer... i really wanted one and the guy is excellent - so i'm just payuing for it out of my own pocket. stops any arguments then.
