my MIL2B was telling me the other day that you put 5 favours in each bag/box, but she got sidetracked before she told me why. I got out of her each 1 is supposed to represent something. Anyone know what? (out of pure curiousity)

I think the traditional thing is five sugared almonds, just googles it and it supposedly means Health, Wealth, Happiness, Long Life and Fertility

i wouldnt' worry about getting 5 in a bag...i only had 3 big bits of handmade toffee in each of my bags!!! i highly doubt..unless u have a very traditional knowledgable guest..that someone will point this out!!!

i always thought the 5 almnd thing was something to do with it being a number that cant be divided and that's what it was meant to symbolise. We are not having almonds, but we are giving 5 mini eggs in little basket or nests to go with ur easter wedding..
