Ok so I'm gobs give the short version cos so sick of everything at the moment we booked our wedding for this year h2b said we couldn't afford it that quick so kept the same venue and changed the date to next November me and h2b were arguing constantly about money nearly broke up because of all the stress and we were moving home too which makes everything worse so we cancelled our venue list our £100 deposit which wasn't too awful.....we're now 4 months on from all that we've moved and are getting on a lot better anyway his mum found a package wedding deal £2012 for 2012 and said she would pay half and my mum offered the other half so we looked at it and liked it thought why not :) but it now turns on the "all inclusive" package doesn't include everything it's only your wedding breakfast for 50 people you have to pay for ceremony about £400 and evening buffet which will be for 85 people for us at £15 a head so basically it's gona cost a lot more we've been searching for all these bargains (cheap flowers, photographers etc) and it just feels like a waste of time now to top it off the venues wedding coordinator is so unhelpful I don't think I want to have her manage our wedding don't no where to go from here sorry it's so long c
Ps eloping is not an option because if special relatives we want there etc
Have you paid any money? If not then you could always cancel and look at other venues...we didn't look at ours in the first place because we thought it was going to be too expensive - turns out the package there is amazing and well within our budget! You don't know until you don't look :-)
No we haven't paid anything for this one thank god I thought it was too good to be true I've started looking for other venues but not having much luck x
I had exactly the same issue with a 'Package Offer' at a venue. If the wedding planner is already a nightmare I would either try and speak to someone else OR look somewhere else coz you dont want to be disappointed again xxx
