ok so we only have 29 days to go.... venue are starting to test my patience! its only a small country pub, however I dont think that gives them the right to be so flippant!! I can never get hold of the manager to go over the menu wording ( as we have to print own wedding menu out!) he is actually ignoring my calls! and when i go down there he scuppers off! aargghh :( also Myself and h2b went to the venue 2 weeks ago to review the amount of bottles of wine for the tables, we came to the decision that maybe 2 more bottles would cover it.. £25!!! £25 for 2 bottles of wine!! only Blossom Hill may i add! (its my fave lol) I kind of started my whole wedding planning on a bad note as we've only got a tiny budget so I guess beggers cant be choosers but this is taking the P! its kind or making me think that cause our wedding is so small and budgeted that I dont have a right to moan and question stuff :( does anyone else get like that? :( xx

of course you can questions stuff hun its ur big day! how cheeky is he avoiding you!! i'd be so annoyed! i'd go down and demand to see him as you don't have long to sort the bits out that you want to and who cares about it being a small budget it doesn't matter as long as you and your man are happy! :0) xx

Ahh lulu, don't panic or worry. It's your big day and whatever the budget it is a very big deal. I wold just go in and demand to be seen by the manager or you want a full refund and you will take your business elsewhere. I realise this isn't exactly possible but if you threaten them with it they may buck their ideas up! x

i think their behaviour is disgraceful. this is a very important event to you and it should be in their interest to make sure their custom to you is top notch. this would really upset me and i would have probably lost my temper by now

I'd go in and refuse to leave until you've spoken with the manager and reached an agreement on how they are going to handle your wedding from now on - and do what Possum said, tell them you can always go elsewhere and they will not only lose the money you would have been spending and be taken to court, but also you will spread the word around that they are awful to their customers and that you would recommend others to go elsewhere.

hi girls update- well he rang me b4 i went down there last night and he was like " im really busy so got to be quick" i was like omg!! he quickly reeled off the menu wording then made his excuses and hung up!! there isnt much i can do about it now, he knows that i cant cancel cause its too close so he obviously just thinks whatever :(

Whatever your budget is,it still doesn't give him the right to behave like that!! I'd definitely stand my ground with him!! Even if I was just going for Sunday lunch I wouldn't expect to be treated like that & this is your wedding!!
