their bouquets? (-: (this is where the mods edit my topic title) (*ahem* - says Stacey) Only ask as Ive just been watching "My best friends wedding" and it seems like a waste. Do you get it back or does the person who catches it, keep it? xxx

I'm not doing it as I only have 5 single women in my party and I can't justify spending the extra money to do it. I'm sure no one will mind. They can have their cake to put under their pillow ;P

Im having another one made for me to throw. Im not a flower person i hate them but i actually want to keep my bouqet. Part of the reason is because h2b picked the flowers. I was thinking last week that i would just make my own flowers after seeing some nice ones in dunelm mill but h2b wanted ones with thistles and heather so he seen some liked them and we are going for them. xx

I love the idea of the wooden flowers - I also love the idea of some unspecting girly catching them with a "clunk" :)

Or worse, roses and thistles - can you imagine catching those >?>?>

Do something different? Tennis ball with flowers painted on?

Paper or silk flowers? (In fact why aren't more bouquets made of paper or silk)

Paper planes printed with flowers - everyone could catch one then and the kids will play with them afterwards.

How about an "apple bobbing" barrel - but with flower heads instead - that would be a laugh

If you've got a girl really desperate to get the bouquet you could hold an auction (for charity) for it with the speeches.

I am putting mine at the site where my sister's ashes were scattered and throwing my maid of honours flowers. The person who catches the flowers usually keeps them however at most weddings i've been to people usually ask the bride if she wants them back jst in case she is putting them on a grave or anything xx
