Does the groom put the bride's ring on first or the other way round? I've seen it hundreds of times, but can't recall, lol
Also, do you do the daddy / daughter dance before or after the first dance? It seems logical that the bride's having the last dance with her dad before he gives her to her husband, but the bride / groom dance is called the first dance.
    Sorry to sound stupid, lol

My ring was put on first at our ceremony ... and we didn't have a father/daughter dance (my father wasn't invited) so can't help you with that one xx

The groom says his vows first so the bride will get her ring first. You can have your father/daughter dance before the bride/groom dance as it's the 'first dance' of your married life together - or have if afterwards if you prefer - but I like the idea of a last dance with your dad before he hands you over to your new hubby :-)

brides ring first as traditionally men didn't wear rings

as for dancing there isn't a rule of thumb just how you feel comfortable - usually its new couple first dance but like my h2b said last night were not having one even with the dj's suggestion of half moon circle around us to reduce the focus were not the dancing type so an awkward shuffle in front of our family would be a surprise ha-ha
