We got engaged in August 2010 and got married in Vegas in Sept 2011 (a year ago yesterday, in fact). That was plenty of time to plan everything and give friends a chance to save too. It was a great experience and would highly recommend getting married abroad - good choice! ;)

We got engaged December last year and think we booked our wedding in January this year! I originally wanted to get married in the Seychelles until H2b mentioned that our parents wouldn't be able to afford to come. So therefore, Cuba is booked for April 2013! With nearest and dearest coming along with us! Seems like so far away though :( X

We're getting married in Greece in may. We booked the wedding planner and ceremony venue back in February and booked the holiday in April. There's not much we can do at the moment as everything will be arranged when we get there. The rings have arrived, the dress is on order, just got to get grooms outfit (this is very stressful) and am currently looking for bridesmaid/flower girl dresses!

Hi Mrs E2B. I'm getting married in Cyprus in May 2014. I have already found a wedding planner, got estimates of costs, decided on the service venue, and reception venue, and am just waiting for confirmation on paperwork and the date, before sending out STDs. I'm a bit of a planner so hope to have everything in hand - in my mind anyway - in plenty of time! Certainly isn't too early to start putting a budget together and getting estimates of the things you want! x

We're the same Nichola. We booked through a travel agent and it all came included in the wedding package, so the only thing we actually have to do is buy a wedding ring for me ~(h2b doesn't want one). I've already got my dress, shoes and veil, and H2b has got his outfit sorted! :) X

hiya... we got engaged in feb 2011 and were getting married in july 2013 in kos greece,
we booked our wedding planner in january 2012 in Kos and she has been great, booked a package that cost around £2400 and includes everything even food for our 30 guests.
got my dress now aswell and have booked our evening party for sept 2013 too cannot WAIT now xx

we got married in cyprus on the 13th of this month. it was AMAZING!! i started planning about 18mths beforehand. looking at countries and venues online and picked cyprus. so glad we did, as we fell in love with the country so much we want to move there!!

I'm getting married in Gambia (west Africa) in February 2013! We got engaged in Feb 2012 and started planning just two months ago. For me it is so much easier as it is all pre organised. We are paying £1800 for the registrar, band, and cars plus all inclusive food and drink for 12 guests. For our honeymoon we're going to go over the border to Senegal on safari for a couple of days.

Hi, we were thinking of Jamaica, Hawaii and Mauritius, but finally we decided to go to the Seychelles Islands. We can have or Wedding in Seychelles 3 days after arrival and then we will have a nice romantic 2 weeks honeymoon. I can't wait xoxo

I am marrying in May 2014, Cyprus. Have lots booked already...church..reception venue...coaches for guests...harpist at the church...photographer...apartments. Just bought my dress Mori lee1856 which i am in love with...still lots to do but did quite a lot when I was on maternity leave last year so can now de-stress a bit :)
Ive made my own foam flower and brooch bouquet, invites, Bridesmaids bouquets and am currently making name plates fort he tables...Oh and my 'cinderella' bridal shoes too...i am blinging them up myself but ive been at it months and still nowhere near complete lol x

Hi girls, I'm getting married in Italy... just 15days to go! I knew from the day I got engaged that I wanted a destination wedding!! As first destinations, we was thinking to get married in Greece or Croatia, but we don't know anyone who has got married there previously. I have sent requests to a few wedding planners at both places, but at long last a friend of mine who got married in italy last year, recommended me her italian wedding planner: Laura (PLEASE ASK ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE THE NAME OF THE CO@MPANY). She's is a fantastic and creative wedding planner - she listens and understands exactly what you want and then makes it even better with her own suggestions and ideas! She has a lot of experience arranging weddings and it definitely shows. No detail is overlooked and she has a reliable list of suppliers. She's taking away all of the stress! She is insightful, organized, creative... The list goes on and on. We're enjoying our planning, because we know we're in good hands. I would definitely recommend them!

xxhan87xx - I got married in Vegas :) It's totally amazing. Be warned...you'll have random tourists taking photos of you - we got stopped so many times asking for photo's with a real Vegas wedding couple LOL!
