So, OH, 2 best men, 3 ushers, 1 pageboy, FOB and FOG. Does everyone wear the same suit? My OH thinks that his dad shouldn't, but I'm not too sure. We need your help to decide who is more right lol x

Not sure but we have fog groom 2 best men and my brother who is giving me away in the same suit not sure if its right or not hun. Pageboys will be in similar suits xx

We're having 3 ushers - 1 bestman and FOB in the same kilt- H2B is wearing the same but having a waistcoat (just to stand out as the groom) FOG is not wearing the same, He is wearing a kilt, but his family colours xx

OH Best Man 3 Ushers FOB FOG
We are having the same suit and waistcoat. OH however, is wearing a different colour cravat and matching Hanky. Our colours are purple and white. H2B is wearing purple the others are having white.

my H2B, BM, FOB, FOB & my brother are all wearing the same suit we was going to change the cravat but they dont have my colour and it would cost us over £100 just to buy the cravets that I want so everyone is wearing the same colour but the buttonhole will be different.
But it is up to you and you H2B.

OH is wearing a grey suit for the day, and changing into a tux for the evening. We're buying both as 'investment pieces'. So, we're asking the groomsmen and our dads to just wear a grey suit of their choice; we figure those who don't have one (just his dad and one of his ushers) will likely be buying one for the wedding anyway. We weren't fussed about them matching and prefer a slightly more informal look. We will then provide ties and button-holes to lend some uniformity to the look.
Generally speaking the groom, best man, ushers, and fathers are put in matching suits. However, a lot of couples have the groom stand out by having say, a different colour tie/cravat/button-hole to the rest of the bridal party (we'll be doing this).

H2B is wearing his uniform, FoB and FoG and BM wearing tails, the other ushers and page boy, just matching suits with matching accessories to the afore mentioned.
But you can do wahetevr you want!
And we lived happily ever after!

Whatever you prefer hun. We had Groom, Best Man, 2 Ushers, Father of Bride & Page Boy. All had same suit (well PB had junior size) and then they all had silver cravat & hankie apart from Groom and Best Man who had turquoise. Then they all had the same button hole except the Groom who had same plus an extra detail to make his stand out a bit.
That was what we wanted in terms of both wanting the wedding party in same suit but I left it up to the Groom to decide how he wanted to be different / match etc.

We've got groom, best man, his dad, my dad, my brother and 2 stepsons.. Everyone is wearing the same suits, but H2B will have a white waistcoat and cravat and the rest will have silver waistcoats and cravats.. H2B's button hole will also have a white ribbon around the stem and the rest will have silver ribbons xxx

We had Groom, best man, ushers, FOB and FOG in the same suit. However, the Groom had a silvery waistcoat, th ushers had ivory (in the same pattern) and then FOB and FOG had the matching grey waistcoat - the same material as the suit.
This was originally done because my dad is a big guy and the only way he could have a waistcoat made big enough was to have one that matched the jacket but in the end i think it looked really nice - the older generation looked very smart.
But its up to you hun, whatever you want for your day :D
