I also did the same thing and got an email back later to say that the code is invalid so the orders I placed are not going to come unless I pay the rest of the money. I've sent them a snotty email saying that if I went to a supermarket and paid for something with a voucher and left the shop they wouldn't chase me across the car park to get more money from me. If it was invalid then they should not have allowed it to go through the checkout and then allow me to pay the small difference through paypal. I'm now awaiting a reply but if the worst happens I just get all the money back I paid through paypal. I just think it is bad that they set up their site in such a bad way that it allows for mistakes to be made then the customer suffers for it.

I just had a voice mail from the company saying all orders that have used the code not for the necklace will be cancelled. I think this is fair enough to be honest, as the magazine does state the voucher code is for the necklace only. They're not running a charity, free for all website.

I've just had an email back refunding my money. I'm not saying that they are a charity but if they make a mistake then that is down to them and they should honour what they charged us. If we were in a shop they wouldn't chase us the next day for the money they lost because they had made a mistake. It may state that the code can only be used for the necklace but they allowed it to be used for other items on their site. Any other website tells you that the code is not valid for the items in your basket and stops it from being used so they should have done the same. Its only a short bit of code they needed to add to the site in order to do that so its not hard for them to do. Its about time they changed it!

I think they may have changed it now, as it came up with an error code when I tried to use the code today. Atleast they realised and sorted it before sending out the products, or it would have been a lot harder for it all to be sorted!! lol. Bet the poor guy running the site is having a right panic today trying to contact everyone that made orders!! lol

No they haven't they cancelled all of my orders. They let you go through the checkout then email you later saying it is void. They do refund any extra payments you made though so you don't lose anything.
