We spent 4k on our wedding, someone we know spent 12k on theirs and to be honest, we couldnt see where she had spent that extra money!

1 of my friends said a rude comment because ive only got 6 people coming 2 my wedding (in Turkey) and coz its a good deal,i had 2 say its wot I want, and it is perfect 4 me!! People think coz its not wot they want, its wrong, stuff em!!! Its ur day! x x x
I agree and a dress that's £100 can be nicer than a dress that's £5000. Cost is nothing to do with it, as long as you get married to the person you love and you have a good day then that's all that matters x x

I dont think anyone has the right to judge someones wedding on the amount they spend on it.
Why should it matter if your spending 20k or 3k at the end of the day the most important thing is that your marrying the person that you love & want to spend the rest of your life with!
KirstyJ22 i agree i dont think a bigger price tag on a dress necessarily means its nicer!! I do admit i spend £1900 on my dress but only because i fell in utter love with it, i looked at dresses though that were a couple of hundred and were gorgeous then saw some that were a couple of grand and were hideous.
Our budget is only 5k and im happy with that because aslong as i marry my h2b and all my family there nothing else really matters.
Of course if i had the money it would be nice to be able to splash out a little more but unfortually we just cant afford it.
