Is there anyone else on here thats doing it by themselves. I making my own bouquet and getting some help for everything else, I figured it would be cheaper.
    What do you think?

I think thats a great Idea - I don't think you realise how expensive flowers are especially for a wedding until your planning your own. I think making your own will be a bit more personal and as long as your confident that you can do it well I would go for it!! We are quite lucky H2B's mums friend is a florist so we have her doing our flowers xx

My mum owns a florist and the woman who works there is also a good friend of mine, she's going to help me but i'll be doing most of it, she'll just be telling me the basics and i guess fixing anything i mess up lol. It makes me feel better that it wont be completelly ruined if i mess up lol.
I have the image in my head of my bouquet and i know myself, anything other than that will not do.lol

I've done my own (pics are on my profile)

Were only having a very small intimate wedding so money for flowers didn't seem justified to me... anyway it was fun making them aslo...

What do you think of them?? xx

im thinking about doin my own too, going to start experimenting soon! found some nice large roses in tesco that im gonna have a play with and see if they look as fab as i want them too look, if not i will be going with silk/foam flowers i think, im on a budget so cant justify large money spending.
