Wedding not for another 13 months and I've started my diet already! I'm determined to stick to it this time...........
I had birthday cake for somebody's birthday in work the other day, only a very slim slice and i felt sick after eating it as if my body was saying urgh i dont want that..........

my start weight was 16 stone, been to Zumba twice, bought it for the xbox at home and done it twice at home, being very good apart from a day at the sea side and lost 6lb so far, i will get to a size 14 if it kills me! 14 months to go i should be able to do it!

I have started eating better, as the doctor has stuck me on some pills that have made me put on weight for the first time in my life (excluding pregnacies!) problem is I'm getting quite worked up about it as I bought my dress back in March before the doc's change so it's not trying to lose weight it's more having to lose the weight and tbh its wearing me down! Sorry, should have put it in the rant section eh?

laura i dont think i have ever weighed 9 and a half stone. But then i am 5ft 8 just got back in to a size 12 and aiming for a small 12. I was hitting 13 stone and now just under 12.

i want to lose 2 stone. im 5'2" and i think close to 11stone size 12/14 and need to get back to a 10/12 and 9 stone. for my wedding dress bought a size 14 as in the shop they said they come up a size smaller then was put on tablets that have made me put on 2 stone in 6 months! wedding dress has arrived and doesn't fit!!! i have a year but im finding it so hard. am off the tablets now but still can't seem to lose anything, like im just stuck. try to do zumba on wii every day or at least 5 times a week or excercise dvd and eating healthier but nothings happening :( hope everyone is doing well with it and gets to their target weight x

i am! never dieted in my life until now and finding i have no will power lol i have put a stone and a half on since i bought my dress so joined slimming world 4 weeks ago, have lost 8lb so far but have struggled a little this week :( got zumba for the wii last week too but just havent had the time to go on it properly yet, had a quick try of it and boy is it tiring haha x

We are both trying to be more sensible and I have currently lost about 9lb in about as many weeks. It's summer hols for me soon which will help a lot. I'm currently a size 16 and aiming for a size 12 although I find anything smaller than a 14 very hard to maintain.

I am doing weight watchers and its my second weigh in tomorrow! Hopefully ive lost! Went to the cinema saturday to see Bridesmaids and i took grapes,ww crisps and a diet coke!! So ive deffiantly made big changes lol
Ive got my wedding dress and it doesn't fit yett!! So id be happy to lose a stone :0) Iam 5ft 4 and was 13.12 when i started now i am 13.7!! Lost 5lbs last week and was sooo over the moon! Ive struggled with my weight up and down between having all my kids and after 5 kids its time for me to get slimm and be happy!!

I have my bought my dress in 2 sizes smaller, (it is a corset back) so I have a bit of room, but for it look at its best, I want to go from 14-16 to 10-12, hopefully. Having a famous milkshake replacement twice a day and meal, and I'm actually finding it ok. I would snack a lot due to being at home with the baby but this really takes the urge away. I also tai-bo twice a week, which I looove :)

Yep - the weight loss is happening here too. I put on about 10 kilos after injuring my knee in a martial arts competition. Hopefully will be back in training soon until then I'm just watching what I eat and walking 4 miles a day. So far I'm down 2 kilos and counting.

As it is so high intensity, it's a cardio workout as opposed to weight training. You don't use weights or anything, it's like a high paced aerobics class that teaches you some self defense. Honestly it is fantastic, you feel so satisfied after doing it

decided to go on a diet from, yesterday!! currently a dres size 14/16 which for me prsonally is massive.... i used to be a size 6-8!! unfortunately (like most people) i got to comfortable with my partner, and too lazy and ate to much!! Soooooo i have decided to start the weight watchers pro points i am allowed 29 points a day and 49 extra a week for takeaway etc if i want. My wedding is in 8 months and i already have my dress! The lady in the shop said i can lose a stone and a half without getting altered. So im at least going to try and lose that much!! i have massive boobs (34H) so i had to get a size 18 dress but luckily it is flattering anyway as my boobs take most the attention and i have a size 12 waist! I have a proper hourglass figure!but i just want to lose my jelly belly and bingo wings and il be happy.....as you cant see my legs under my dress haha!! but it going to prove hard giving up my cider and chinese takeaways!!!! i just hope i can do it!! everyone looks like they are doing so well!! keep u[ the good work ladies and i hope in the not to distance future i can be proud of my weight loss :) xx

Special K for breakfast, fruit and a yoghurt for lunch and a healthy tea although i have cut out carbs and dont feel bloated as much anymore! My biggest downfall is fizzy drinks....thats my next target but need 2 get focused properly on eating the right foods first. I struggle to exercise, i work full time with a 3yr old daughter and normally do college 2 evenings a week aswell so i am always to tired to do any exericse or go for a jog etc...suppose we'll have to see how i go and if nothings budging i will physically have to force myself to do it

i decided after i proposed last week that i need to lose weight for my big day, i cut out all fatty foods and pretty much living of water and apples and so far i have lost half stone. my start weight was 11 and half stone and a size 14 on bottom and 12 on top.. i hate myself for getting to the weight i am :( but i am determend to get to a size 8 by my big day. im starting the gym hopefully this week so that will be my new friend and hobby lol xx

I've never really dieted as such, I'm no good at it. I'm just trying to eat more healthy things. I think the trick with me is to cut protion sizes. Or at least that's how I'm initially tackling it. I've had 14 weeks off work due to problems with my discs so only just up and about again. I've been given a few exercises to do but I've been advised to do yoga (something i've never done!) I really need to get better so can do more stuff as need to tone up my wobbly bits lol

I feel like im on a permanet diet!!! I had my daughter 9 months ago and ive still got about 5lbs of my baby weight to loose still then im starting on the weight that i wanted to loose before i fell pregnant so thats about another 3 stone to loose now before wedding but if i can loose it before then then thats great but i cant see that happening not if we're trying for another baby just now

The girls have started a fat club at work so might have to joing that. We only get weighed once a month as we work a rolling shift rota. aim is to get weighed on the same shift each 4 weeks. dreading what they'll be shouting at me lol

lol... i was thinking about loosing some weight but on the other hand... i'm actually not fat at all just not liking my legs but as i probably decide to have a princessy dress i wont need to worry to much... cut down smoking or actually stopped only when i get really stressed out i'm going to have one hasn't happened for long.... so guessing i gained some weight through that but i love my food and can't do without :D but need to get a healthy way as a habit with eating... should actually start eating a bit breakfast a light lunch and light dinner mostlikely doing the mistake getting up to late not eating before i get to work and eating all way around and if i get home and i haven't eaten since 5 to 8 hours i gonna have a midnight snack... stupid me is eating the wrong things than should rather have a water and some fruit instead of crisps, chocolate and other sweeties... bad also are the fizzy drinks but at work i'm really trying not to have to much of them and try to make my own specialized fruit/black tea creations with lemon/orange/lime slices and honey to not always have the sugar... but than on the next point i love coffee and coffee must have sugar :( need to find a way to cut down on sugar in my coffee ANY GOOD ADVISE?? actually need only a healthier way of eating only wanna loose about min 5 to max 10kg no more than that as it will make me look to skinny and ill in my face... problem is i need to loose weight on my legs not on upper body top is 8 and bottom is 12... dont fit into my favorite trousers no more :(

I started Slimming World just over a year ago and was pushing a size 20. After my divorce i comfort ate a lot and put loads of weight on. I joined Slimming World (again) and i have lost 4 stone and half a pound and am now a size 10/12 which is the smallest ive ever been. I have 6lb to go to my target weight then just have to keep it off. I want to lose another stone but my H2B thinks that im going to far with it so we have come to a compromise and were both happy with that. Yep. Someone was selling a bargain dress on Ebay and I bought it, it's arrived and it's too small. Planned to lose weight anyway, but now I'm just under 11 stone and I'm aiming to get down to 9 by this time next year... the dress is corseted so it'll be fine. Lol. x

Yep I am, started in January as I wanted to take it slowly and still be able to have a life with lovely food in it and I've lost 1st 8lbs so far, got a long way to go though, but plenty of time to do it - have created myself a spreadsheet so that I can see that even if I lose 1lb a week in the end i'll get there!!

yes - have been on a constant diet forever - I need to lose 21lbs ideally for my wedding in april - i have started two kettlebell classes, one boxercise class and a circuits class and whilst i come back absolutely knackered from each the weight is just not shifting - am the worlds worst dieter - keep saying - right thats it back on diet tomorrow - but as most of us know tomorrow never comes!!! I keep telling myself that I am going to be so disappointed with myself it I get married weight 11.7 stone and when I get married - just need some kind of push and motivation - it doest help that I am marrying a stick insect!!!! Both my girls (bridesmaids - 18 & 16) need to shif the pounds too and I keep trying to get them to come to the exercise classes with me - this is hit and miss - at this rate their dresses wont fit and we'll be waddling down the aisle!!! Any tips - advice - ongoing support would be greatly appreciated. If theres anyone in the washington area in the same boat who would like to join forces - get in touch x

I'm with you enny, got a big problem with loving certain foods, mainly cheese, pasta and can never resist a packet of crisps and while I'm not huge by ay means, size 12, was small 10, there is no way I'm going to fit into this dress unless I can cut out these things and get myself sorted with the doctor (to change these tablets!) And plus this time of year there are far too many parties and like enny I love a glass or 3 of wine, or pimms, or shandy on a hot afternoon, the list could go on lol xx

I tried that but my legs seemed to get muscly and my belly didn't shift! H2B has been losing it off his belly but he can do sit ups, I've had back probs so they're not a good idea for me!

I've 3 kids, 2 girls aged 16 & 8 and a little boy aged 4! My problem is up until march (excluding being pregnant!) I've always been a size 10, but the doc decided to muck around with my tablets (I suffer with adult acne) and I started putting the weight on, unfortunately for me I'd measured and bought my dress end of february so now I'm determined to get in it! Swimming is a good idea but our local pool is quite expensive, £5.70 a session, and I really can't afford it on top of everything else! On the plus side my youngest starts school sept, so i'll have a bit more time to myself for exercising!
