I have found where i wanna go but x pe dia doesnt do hotels at the universal park and the places that do except for v1rgin dont go in november haha! but i have read bad reviews for their customer services. Who have you booked your's with and how have you found them? i'd rather not have it messed up.

We went to Tr@!lf!nders yesterday and will get a quote from them at the end of the month when their 2013 rates are released.

Waiting for a quote from Tr@velb@g. Got one from Ku0n! but that was way too pricey!

Hopefully fingers crossed will book at the end of the month.

Have you thought of booking the flights/hotel/rental car separately and not as part of a package? It would give you a lot more freedom and more of a chance to explore. There are city cards that allow you to visit attractions within a set time period and they can be cheaper than individual tickets. Kissimmee is close to Orlando and is billed as a budget place to stay (if you're willing to rent a car). Disney often offers deals to stay in their hotels and visit their parks in the off season as well.

Neither of us can drive so we're restricted to either walking or public transport which sucks and i would rather not spend most of my honeymoon on a crowded bus if i can help it i'd rather be in a crowded theme park haha. we're booking the attraction tickets through ATD as it's 76 cheaper than buying them seperately and it's for 14 days at disney and universal combo (the 2 tickets in a deal) Thats why i have been looking at staying either at disney or the studios so we dont have to keep to-ing and fro-ing every day.

Thomson. we use them for all our holidays as i still have my discount from when i used to work for them. Technically not meant to but once you work for them they tend to look after you from then on. Even if they cant get me a discount they always try to throw in a few added extras for me lol x

We booked out flights and the hotels in Vegas with V!rgin and tbh, had great customer service,l including getting free access into their V Lounge at Gatwick before our departure (free breakfast, comfy chairs, great views etc). The other hotels on our road trip we booked ourselves as no-one had those little obscure motels on their books LOL!

Just a wee tip, if you stay in Disney it is very hard to go anywhere other than Disney. How about staying on International Drive? It is a lot easier to go to either Disney or Universal from there as you are inbetween plus most hotels have free shuttles taking you to either park and picking up throughout the day. Thata where we stayed the last 2 years when we've been to Florida. X

Also, check out flights with Air France. We flew with them to New York and they were really good and much cheaper than more well known companies! Oh and if you are under 24 you get a cheaper 'young' rate as they call it! X

I agree with CaitlinD re International Drive...plus many more companies (inc Exped!a) do hotels in that area. Great point CaitlinD!

have had a nose at international drive i was just thinking as we're spending 9 days at disney and only 4 at universal it may have been more cost effective to stay there instead of spending money on taxis there and back. I'm going to see if i can book it through ken w00d as they have a really good rep and they sell theme park tickets and swim with dolphin things etc.

Where did u stay on international drive?

Well almost all the hotels on i-drive have free shuttles to disney and universal. Also, you can get to disney from i-drive on the lynx buses and disney transport is free between all the parks! We stayed in the Hawthorn suites Universal boulevard(one block behind idrive)in 2010 and Econolodge in 2011. Hawthorn suites are a lot nicer than econolodge especially for a honeymoon!

The one that looks like it's in the best place and has transfers to both disney and universal is Renaissance Resort at SeaWorld... it's smack bang in the middle of the two. whats econolodge? is it a chain of them or a specific hotel? just so if this is fully booked i stay well away from it...
