We have seen a few country/manor houses around the Bristol/Bath area that are stunning and my mum works at the Marriott Royal so we would get a bit of discount if we went there, but it's all so expensive! We started out wanting to spend about £7k, it's now become nearly £10-£15k! I couldn't believe it. I would be more than happy with a registry office ceremony then looking for somewhere for the reception and evening do but I think the H2B really wants a country/manor house. I think we may have to find some kind of compromise somewhere lol.

Just a few DIY bits left and honeymoon spending money! I can't believe how quickly it's coming around now! We have the meeting with the registrar a week on Monday and then the final details meeting with the venue next month. So excited!! Xxx
