As we have now decided a wedding abroad is 100% what we want Im now starting to look into things properly, Ive picked up 2 wedding brochures-one thomson and one First choice.
Who did you/are you booking with or who do youre recommend as a good company/advisor to make it as easy as possible to make sure everythings done right, My luck something will go wrong so need to be sure.

i have gone with an independent wedding planner, maybe you should have a look at them? and then ill book the holiday will a well known travel company and then keep my wedding seperate from the holiday, the wedding is £2.500 in kos in july 2013 and for that i get absolutely everything For Ceremonies to be held at Kos Town Hall, Andimachia Traditional House, Kardamena Traditional House, Lofaki or a Beach Location.

I found that when i was looking at weddings with the well known companies you were suggesting they were rather inflexible, eg if all my family were staying at an all inclusive hotel and we got married there we had to PAY for the wedding meal eventhough were all inclusive and eat in in the resturant with anyone else anyway!!
I trust my planner 100% shes lived in kos for 13 years used to be the 1st-choice wedding planner and has amaizng contacts and have answered all my queries quickly and to the best of her ability always! xx

i know there are lots of wedding planners in cyprus, independant ones.
if you don't want to go through your tour company, you can look up wedding planners once you have chosen where and how you want to get married

We are doing it all ourselves, mainly as I like to know everything thats happening down to the last detail and I wouldn't be able to sit back and relax. We both sat down and worked out exactly what we wanted on the day. We did at one point ask for a quote from a company to organise all this for us but as we suspected is was way over the quotes we had direct with the suppliers/venues.
We are flying with easyjet, have a villa with pool, from an owners direct site. We booked the villa a year in advance and got a great deal of £600 for 2 weeks. Doing the paperwork for the ceremony ourselves, my uncle lives in Paphos but tbh its all been pretty easy and we've done the majority of it via email direct with the town hall. Booked all our transport, reception and everything ourselves and up to now it has all been very straightforward.
My advice would be to decide firstly what you and h2b really want from your day. Speak to more than one company and tell them what you want and ask for a quote. If you get a quote you are happy with then go for it. xx

We booked our honeymoon about 12 months in advance so got a good discount thru Thom@s C00k. Were jetting off to Turkey 2 days after the wedding. Got it at a very reasonable price for a 5* hotel all inclusive for 2 weeks xx
