Hi, I have a stupid question but we found out from our venue that they only allow biodegradable confetti. I wanted to know who brings confetti to the wedding, do we have to bring it and leave it for guests to use or do guests bring it and we let them know beforehand it has to be biodegradable?

Some venues don't allow it so I would check first, I would personally give the bridesmaids the job to supply if I had any

Some venues are very particular that confetti has to be biodegradable etc, I think more modern days the bridal party tend to supply confetti so it is within limitation of the venue and that its the right Colours etc, also if you want that confetti picture you cant rely on enough guests to bring confetti to throw so better to play it safe x

We supplied some as I wanted a lovely confetti shot and was worried that not many people would bring it (I never remember to take it when I go to a wedding) and a few people did bring some but not many so glad I supplied some extra xx

I would expect some people to bring their own but you could also supply some as well. Or leave a small note in your invites asking that it be biodegradable if people want to bring some.

I wouldn't supply enough for everyone but you could always have a little amount there just in case people forget or if they bring non-biodegradable. To be fair though I do think most are biodegradable now :)

I would always take some to a wedding and all weddings I have been to there has been enough from guests. I actually tend to take a few boxes and give them to others who may have forgotten. Maybe ask the minister to mention it at the start of the service that only biodegradable confetti is allowed.

I have been to a few weddings and never brought my own we were handed some there. I mentioned making my own confetti cones and my mom couldn't understand it at all as she said people would bring their own.

I never knew that guests had to bring their own so I'm guessing a lot of our friends won't either so I will be providing some as I am hoping to get some nice confetti filled photos.

I would say it depends if you want a confetti photo- we went to OHs cousins wedding and they could on,y have biodegradable confetti so they had buckets of it- they also wanted a confetti line of guests throwing it, it looks awesome- a black and white photo and the the confetti coloured :-)

I must be old school then, I would never dream of turning up for a wedding and expecting them to have supplied it. I've always taken my own. At our wedding we did have peeps ask prior if they could bring it.

I mentioned a company above, their confetti is all flowers so 100% biodegradable :)

Our venue has requested biodegradable only and I think a lot of places are the same now so it is easy enough to come across. If you do a quick internet search, I have also seen them advertised on the Bay of E.

Our guests brought confetti, we didn't supply any. :)

Ours also had to be biodegradable but we didn't let anyone know... tbh I doubt the venue would notice that much, they have to clean it up anyway.

We didn't provide any but I wasn't bothered about it. I've been to loads of weddings and no guests have brought any to any of the weddings. The only weddings that had them were provided by the bride and groom x
