Well we have a best man but not moh as we are only having my son 4yr old and my h2bs 2daughters from his previous relationship aged 8 and 9year old.
So who do you think I should choose if I don't have a moh?x

When we booked our Church he made a point of saying it doesn't have to be MOH and best man if you don't want. I was considering asking my bridesmaids as we have two, but I think fiancé may want his best man if we do that, so I may just ask one of them, I'm sure the other won't mind. Or we could ask parents, but I don't fancy that for us.

We had my mum and FIL. I wanted my mum to have an important part in the day and ceremony other than just being the last one in before me. Hubby wanted his dad to get all the important roles from his family.

We are having best man but not my maid of honour I want my other friend to do it as she wouldn't be a bridesmaid as too old in her opinion

We are having my OH's Mum and my Grandma.. We felt that the Mum's get a bum deal and as my Mum is playing the organ at the cathedral she is getting quite an important part so we will ask my Grandma to do it on my side as a) she means a lot and b) there's a fair bit of involvement on my Dad's side. OH's Mum doesn't have anything to do other than turn up and look pretty and was overjoyed when we asked her! xx
Married my wife on 15.08.15

I haven't even thought about this. Does it matter who it is? There will be enough people there, so we won't be short of witnesses
CommentAuthorRachelE118
Our 2 mums are doing it...for 2 reasons really. Both dads have passed away but it also makes them part of the ceremony.

We had maid of honour and best man

I'm not having a bridesmaid do it as they will all be busy with the music at that point. My aunt will be my witness as we have always been close, and aunts don't get the same attention as the mothers do. The other one will be one of the two best men.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

You can have anyone you want (so long as they are over 18) so many different people say there are traditions on this but I've heard about 20 different versions lol.
We are having Grooms sister and my brother and sister. They said they would stretch to 3 for us xx
CommentAuthorSarah1865red
We are having our mums, that way all four parents get to play a roll in the day. My dad is giving me away and my FIL is doing a reading. Choose whoever you want :-)
