H2B wants to wear a white suit for our wedding and to me this sounds really awful. our theme is red, black and white so it wouldn't look out of place but i really wanted our little boy to wear a matching suit and as he will only be 2 and a half by the time the wedding comes around there will be no way of keeping him clean grrrrrrr

white suits are nice, h2b wanted one but then he tried one on, it looked awful so he tried an ivory one. nice, but too much i thought, and i had no idea how to match everyone else... there was best man, my uncle who is giving me away, page boy, the flower girls are already in ivory and 2 adult bm's, then there is my huge ivory dress-no bloody way! there are only 17 of us in jamaica for the wedding and it was faaaaar too much as he wanted everyone in the same colours (he's a bit clueless at times!) i am soooo glad i managed to talk him out of it, i thought i was having a nightmare! xx

I suppose it's what makes him happy hun, we as brides get too choose pretty much everything, a suit is one of the things the man should get to choose and if white is what he wants then why not? I understand what your saying about your boy wearing a matching one, I want our ushers in ivory suits but H2B refuses as they will be filthy by the time the photos are due to be taken lol.. Maybe don't get your son dressed until right at the last moment :o)

how about a tux? they are quite smart? its difficult to suggest if he's really stuck on it. the compramise i made is that phil could have quite a bright shirt and he chose a really nice pink one with grey trousers and waistcoat (some pics on profile)
grey and red goes nice together if he doesnt want to be in anything too dark? x

ive let matt decide on the mens suits, ive shown him what i like but at the end of the day its his decision. After all its HIS day too so he has to feel comfortable with his suit.

I think your best bet is to get him to try one on first, you never know he might change his mind! Im not a huge fan of white/ivory suits...but thats only because I want to be the only one wearing that colour on the day!

l like white suits with very strong colours so with red accessory would be stunning, you could always change the wee fella later, if your h2b wants to wear white suit the let him or why not suggest he changes for the reception most brides change!!! my h2b has a change lol as it's the only way we could please ppl xx

i think that if by the time we come to hire/ buy the suit h2b still really really has his heart set on it then fine. but in the mean time i'm gunna steer him towards the black and grey suits lol
