So, me and h2b are pretty settled on every other detail to do with the wedding, but we keep coming back to the small matter of the honeymoon. We both love the look of the Maldives and the Bahamas, and they both have equally amazing honeymoon packages and resorts, we just don't know what to do!!! Has anybody been to either and can help us decide?!

Is there a major price difference? If not then it would be the Bahamas for me.
It’s so great to find that one special person
you want to annoy for the rest of your life....
We thought about the maldives but when you start to seriously look into it you will find thqat weather has a great effect on where you can. Our wedding is in August which ruled out carribean (hurricane season) the maldives (monsoon season) mexico (hurricane season) and the list goes on lol We setteled on Mautitus, still outstanding and breath taking with good weather :)

In March you've still got good weather in the Maldives, they don't have a cold season, just some rain but it's more the odd shower rather than monsoon! We've booked with Kuoni to go to the Kuramathi resort, which is Kuoni travellers only and it has 6 restaurants, a dive centre, a house reef and daily hammerhead shark and manta ray feeding sessions!! Plus a spa and a private island you can overnight on :-)

iv been to both and i must say the maldives was more romantic and relaxin, the bahamas was more fun in the sun but still relaxin n romantic, i would say either choice is brill but make sure u read the reviews hunny bwfore u book, both have high standards n a good class of service altho be warned hun i used to be a travel agent n most of my clients stated that altho it was warm rain there was a lot more of it than expected in maldives xxx

No theres not too much of a price difference to be honest as we'd go for a honeymoon package so they were fairly similar. Hmm well we're going in April so I guess the weather would be OK then?? We are really swaying towards the maldives, its just pulling us in!
Bridalmiss - I think ive heard of that one actually! It looked lovely!
Well i'll consult with h2b with all your comments and let u know what we decide! Thanks girls! :-)

We're going for the Maldives and got a really good package after searching around and comparing prices. What made us choose it in the end was the reviews we've read and H2B's cousin honeymooned there the same time we are planning to go (August) and despite the not so good weather reports they said they had an amazing time and the weather was perfect...

I've been to the Bahamas and loved it, so I can recommend going there, but also heard that the Maldives are amazing too - it's a tough choice! xx
