I'm having a father daughter dance with my Dad and I'm wondering which comes first, father daughter or bride and groom? I've been told father daughter but read somewhere that it's bride and groom. I'm confused!

I think the bride and groom dance first, hence why it's called the first dance.

I think my sister and bro in law did their first dance then father daughter dance, but one of my friends told me it's father daughter first. H2B, unsurprisingly, isn't fussed which way round we do it, but I think we'll go with tradition and do ours first :o)

Bride and groom first dance first followed by father daughter dance. Traditionally during the father daughter dance the groom is supposed to dance half way through with the MOB and best man with CBM/MOH.

Bride and Groom and then father and daughter. I also think it would be appropriate at the same time having mother and son as well.

I think it's choice I haven't a clue about tradition but I'm dancing with my dad then getting him to hand me over to h2b kind of like he's passing the roll of caring to h2b. I think go with what you think or want xx

I'd just go with whatever you want! I think tradition is bride and groom first then the daddy daughter dance, but some people like the idea of having the daddy daughter first and then having your dad hand you over to your hubby :)
