Wow Cuba!! That sounds amazing. Are you having a celebration when you get back to the UK?
CommentAuthorRayanne
Im not sure. I kind of want to, but it just seems like a lot of expense for not much :s I probably will if funds allow though :-) Where abouts are you getting married?

Still looking for reception venue to suit us but ceremony at All Saints Church in Ruskington, where I grew up.
I suppose it could just be a big party and doesnt have to follow tradition with hot food or anything. xx
CommentAuthorRayanne
That'll be nice going back to your home town.
Yeah a big party is tempting. :-) xx

I'm getting married in my parents village church about 8 miles out of louth in a village called grainthorpe and we are having our reception at the brackenborough arms nr louth, 5 months today!!

brackenbough arms is lovely laulyloon i was thinking of there deiced to go with the grange and links though because we both come from large extended families would have meant cutting numbers to much and upsetting people so gone with the grange and links in sandilands its nicer then i thought it would be with large grounds and the added bonus of photos on the beach
CommentAuthorlaulyloon
we are managing to get 100 guests there for the day reception then a further 60 for the evening so its not been too bad, no way could have afforded anymore guests lol. iv been to a few functions at the grange and links, years ago but it was nice. its definitly nice to get married near to home and for u i imagine ul not get closer than grange and links, it will be lovely to have photos on the beach xx

I live in Lincoln, but I'm from Mansfield originally... I'm planning on getting married in Sherwood forest, and we're Pagan, so I'm having a handfasting instead of a church ceremony. :)
