Me and H2B had our heart set on going to Mexico or Cuba for our honey moon but we have been told its hurricane season!! Second choice was America but been told it could be cold!! So has anyone got any ideas of wheres nice at that time of year! xx

I just googled september honeymoon if you want more options basically if you go down past equator the season are inverted so australia, new zealand will be cool, but nice, rain seasons in other places. Europe should be nice and might have indian summer in some countries

I went to Florida for a week then onto a western Caribbean cruise in September 2008 and we were warned not to go coz of it being hurricane season but we had beautiful weather! It's so much cheaper so it is worth it but it just depends on whether or not You are willing to take the risk hunni! X

We're getting married in Las Vegas mid September and then going round the Canyon on a Harley for part of our honeymoon. It won't be cold. Last year temps were still in the 30's at that time of year - I'm more worried about melting! My friend also lives in San Francisco and it's also still really warm there too, so the US may not be out of the equation. Hx

Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Morocco, Spain, Canaries, Turkey: all should be warm-hot and dry.
Re Mexico and Cuba: September is a bit of a gamble, but many people still travel at this time of year. Temps will be hot and humid, and it will rain most days BUT it doesn't rain like it does in the UK, typically you can expect a short, sharp downpour that dries quickly after. I've been to Mexico and Cuba 5 times in total between June and August in the last couple of years, which is hurricane/rainy season, and we've had fab weather on all trips. You will be safer with the above though.

crete is gorgeous and the best time to go is apparently in septemnber as the kids are usually back to school and the sea is really warm lol thats what we got told when we went although we went last may it was still gorgeous!! we went to ahgios nicoloas (sp?) it was the best place iv been!!!

I have been to herisinosis in crete (can't spell) and that also was lovely. Then again I've been to Corfu, Zante, Rhodes and Kos too and they are all lovely. I really do like the Greeks. I think the nice thing about Zante is that it is easy to get to Olympia which is amazing and there are a couple of other islands you can get to easily too. The only thing is the turtles will have just left by the time you get there which will be a shame as they are amazing.
