Ok... maybe I'm stressing too much too soon...... but where did everyone else start with their wedding?
Is it best to get the venue booked first and then take it from there or just do things when you can?
We have seen a few venues and their are some really nice ones... but cant decide

take a deap breath hun, i know how you feel i felt like that when i started planning lol i looked at church and reception venues and once they were booked i started looking at others youll be suprise how things start coming together once venue is booked, do you want a church wedding, registre office or hotel thats the first thing to dicide

I know where i want to be married not booked or anything until we have saved a little for deposits but i have got a few bits and bobs for favours and decoration! Got some glass vases to be painted by a friends mum for my centre pieces and using as candle holders rather than flowers!

DW82 - it will be a hotel.... thats what we have been looking at ... unfortunatley there are too many nice ones... just have to narrow it down to the one thats suits us both best I guess!

yeah that is the problem so many to choose from lol, have you gone and looked round and seen the wedding planner it will be good to see what packages they are offering and see whats within your budget that will help to narrow things down abit lol

Well i havent even got a date yet!!!
Got end of september beginging of oct as thats when we got together but no year! We are hoping by 2014. Sooner if money allows it or later if not!
If i had a date i would be buying all the save the dates and invites when i could as well!!

DW82 - yeah we have seen a few wedding planners/coordinators and there are some venues that we have taken off the list straight away and some which are very close to what we want( am I being picky? lol).
We are going to see three tomorrow and hopefully we can make a choice from there!

god now your not being picky at all, its your big day you wnat it perfect you should of seen the amount of places i rang round and saw before we decided lol you will know when you see the right place, you will fall in love with it abit like when you find your perfect dress lol

i was like that felt more relaxed when we booked the church and venue once youve got that booked the rest will just come together and youll fly through it especially if youve got 34 months ive got through alot of my todo list and ive only got 11 months lol let us know how you get on tomoz

Weve priotised what needs paying first now and ticking it off as we get further down the list xthis is what we did first venue-where your getting married! Then you set the date!Then i started looking for dresses! Then rings,cars,photographer,bridesmaids dresses,suits now i am on flowers decs and soon cakes xxx Good luck hun and congrats on your engagement x

xbexkyx - thank you for your advice anf the congratulations,..... I'm actually quite lucky that H2B is very interested in it also and keeps booking all these appointments for venues... so in some respects its taking some of the stress off me too!

i think id become unbarrable if i had any longer lol, youll love all the planning its fun i love it only thing is i keep finding new things i want ive already gone over my budget, h2b told me to be carefull aas he needs to now do overtime for next 6months to make up the wedding fund lol
