We have been looking at where to Honeymoon and I am baffled by the choice! We want a relaxing, beech break but maybe with some activities around too? I love the look on Honolulu - Hawaii and Cape verde - Africa. Where have you booked/been/looking at?? Francesca :) x

Budget is a factor and time of year so you need to do your research.
We are off to Cuba, had similar ideas to you.... wanted a beach but equally plenty to do but good value for money. South Africa has all of that and a good choice but is expensive, Egypt has loads of excursions and water sports to do but we felt this was where people visited on a normal holiday and not special enough for a honeymoon but it is cheaper. Mexico is good too as plenty to do and more expensive than Eygpt but then cheaper than rest of Carribean so plenty of options. What about Thailand and Far East area? xxx

you need to consider how long you are travelling .....
Hawaii - you cant fly direct and it is quite expensive there Cape Verde is nice
We've decided to get married abroad so chosen Cyprus so everyone can afford, but our first choice was the Maldives, lots of water sports and you can do a trip to sri lanka!! xxx

We are torn between Hawaii and the Maldives we got 5000 for our honeymoon. We found the Maldives cheaper at 4200 for 14nights and it's all inc so will not need as much spending cash (we using what we get for our wedding as spends) where as Hawaii is the full 5000 for 2 weeks so would need a lot more spending cash. We will be booking when we have made your minds up lol x

We're going to Hawaii, costing us just short of £6k (2.5 weeks including a few nights in LA) but as it's our honeymoon we decided to push the boat out and do something we wouldn't normally do. Plus we've both really wanted to go before but never could justify the time and money so the honeymoon is just the perfect reason to go now.
I hear that St Lucia is amazing or if you want sun, sea and sand with culture and good food for a reasonable price, you can go for 5* luxury to the Far East, Malaysia, Bali etc. are all great choices and you could probably get it all for approx £4k for both of you. Check out Tr@v£lb@g. xx

I've just come back from Vegas (OH 30th b'day present) and dont want to go on longhaul too soon again (although I would defo reccomend Vegas!) so we're doing a multistop trip to Italy. We've done Venice and Rome previously so thinking of doing Florence, Tuscany, Naples and then a week on the beach in Sardinia. It depends what you really want to do hun. Me and OH aren't really beach people but decided we'd do week to have a bit of a rest after all the wedding stress! x x
