Trying to get ideas of where to hold my hen do but struggling and need some ideas. I'm in Liverpool and want something not too far away (preferably max 2 hours drive / train journey) and have ideas of what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions of where to go for a good night out? I was thinking Leeds but purely because of the hen package I found.

Went to a hen do in May in Chester, a load of us stayed in a friend's farmhouse but you can rent them out anyway, then we got a taxi into Chester where the girls had organised free entry into a club with champers in crates - we only paid £20 up front which included the taxi! Worth a look maybe...

Ah now Chester sounds good. Thanks hun. I wanted a big house really rather than staying in hotels. Will look into that one!

Cool - if you like, we stayed at Ash House Farm in Northwich, they have a website - the main house is where you have breakfast etc, and there are rooms in the main house to stay as well as converted outbuildings/annexe which are all kitted out as bedrooms - beware the yard between the house and annexe is cobbled, very dodgy stumbling across there in heels after the post night out drinkathon in the sitting room! We got mate's rates as it was a friend of the bride but they're cheap anyway!
