We are going to Malta, nice and hot, not too long a flight, drive on proper side of the road in case we want to hire cars (!), English speaking, good food and reasonable prices. Beaches, history, sea, culture, what more could I want!
CommentAuthorrainbow21
we havnt decided yet, but flight time needs to be four hours or less as h2b injured himself on our last flight to canada so were talking about tenerife- as its special to us as we went on our first ever holiday there x

You can also try Madeira island ;) It has the best of both worlds.. sea and mountains. It will still be really warm and the sea will be warm aswell so perfect for swimming. I also know that 90% of the hotels will upgrade you when you tell them your on your honeymoon ;)

were going to cuba in august, we will take the chance with hurricanes! fingers crossed x

we are now thinking thailand, seen the most beautiful hotel in work (i work for a tour op!) and its on the border with cambodia (another fab country) so away from the hustle and trouble in bangkok. Our other option is the maldives but seems to be really expensive thou might be able to get a deal with work!
Would love to go over to america again but my H2B doesnt fancy that idea. Spent 6 months in New Hampshire and it is the most stunning place in america (my personal opinion!) and know of a few lovely places to stay in the mountains.....grrr at H2B!

We haven't decided yet...we are thinking about going on a cruise since h2b has never been abroad and that way we'll see a few different places.

Why don't you go to Kenya? We looked at loads of places, Maldives,Thailand,Cuba,Mexico,Sri Lanka,Mauritius and finally settled on Kenya. The prices, although expensive for a holiday, are really reasonable compared to some other places we looked at. We are going to Mombasa which is on the indian ocean, so you have all the white beaches and palm trees and we're going on a 3 day safari too to the masai mara while we're there. Dave wants the adventure and I want the beach so a good compromise! And the brochure states its a year round destination, no monsoons or hurricanes as far as I know! And plenty sunshine x
