We've settled on our wedding hymns tonight, finally.. We're only having two; All things bright and beautiful - a hymn we both really like, and Lord of the Dance because it reminds me of my Grandad.
However. Procession/Recession music. Where do I even begin to look?? I've joked and said I'm walking down the aisle to Riverside (lets go!) but the more I dunno..the more likely it may be.....

Oh I love those hymns. H2B and I are yet to choose ours, will have to discuss with the priest in the new year, I have some ideas of what I like but worried our guests might not know them and then noone will sing.

I've just been on youtube and I really like Pachabel Canon in D Major as the entrance music..
I really like Ludovico Einaudi (?sp) but none of the music is really suitable haha

Everyone loves Pachabel's Canon, problem is my sister and I played music from a very young age so personally, both of us are sick of hearing it and so many people have it at their wedding, it must be the most common piece used for the processional, that we've got to the point were we both go "Oh Pachabel's Canon, how original lol". I can totally understand why people like it but have both sworn we'd never have it played at ours. So she walked in to Faure's Pavane and out to Holst's Jupiter (from the Planets suite).

Lol - I have deleted all pics of my dress on my laptop after I uploaded on a thread on here as H2B uses this laptop and cannot risk him seeing the piccies. The only ones I have to see are on my blackberry and that is password protected so he can't just go into my phone and look at photos on there.

h2b knows my photos are on the laptop but it's mostly mine anyway as i use it for uni work.. he's very good and knows not to go searching!!

just listened to Pachabel Canon in D Major and i absolutley love it, thinking about having it as the guest entrance music if i can find a 15 minute version somewhere and have it on from 12.45-1pm. then have my music for my entrance.
