I'm looking for a postbox for cards but we haven't got much money left so I just want a cheap plain one really and hopefully I can jazz it up a bit myself. Not really sure where to look though, can anyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks ladies

What sort do you want - like a real postbox or a cardboard one?
I think you'll be able to make one using a box and some sort of nice wrapping paper maybe? some ribbon and a label to match your theme. I'm sure there will be tutorials on the tube?

I hadn't thought about making one to be honest. I've got so much wedding stuff to do that I haven't really got the time
Claire, that's a good idea. Looks really good.

Aw, it's always a back up idea at least :) Is there any one you could delegate the task to?

I got a plain tall one from bay of e for something like £7 including postage. Seemed a lot for a bit of cardboard but it was proper sturdy so did the job :)

I can't think of anyone to delegate to. H2b isn't creative in the slightest, my moh had two small children so no time and my other bridesmaids are the two children lol

I follow loads of different wedding groups on the book of face and there's always posts popping up with people making them and personalising them, saw one on there recently with was a cardboard chest instead of a postbox which looked good x

The Craft shop for Hobby sell plain cardboard ones too - £6 or £7 i think. I bought the same thing from the bay of e but the bottom corner was all squashed with postage. At least at a shop you can go through and pick out the perfect ones

CommentAuthorGlitterfairy
I got mine from the bay for about £12. It had ribbons put on it in the colour scheme as well.

If you've not got the time to make one yourself, what about seeing if someone will make it for you? Bridesmaid? Mother of Bride/Groom? Other arty guest/friend? I'm sure if you supplied the stuff and how you want it to look, someone will oblige!
